Elena Kalinichenko is a documentary photographer based in Ukraine. Her work focuses on the personal and psychological impact of war beyond the frontlines. Elena works with independent media and on long-term personal projects. Her main interest is to explore creative approaches in documentary photography. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including a group exhibition in Paris as part of a program mentored by Annie Leibovitz. She is currently developing new bodies of work created from inside the ongoing war in Ukraine.
